Combined Programs

Several double major and major/minor combinations are available. It is also possible to combine the requirements of any two programs offered by the University.

 

A Double Major program combining any two of Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Science can be obtained by a program of study meeting the requirements of both Major programs. A Major in General Mathematics cannot be combined with any other Major or Minor program offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Major/Minor combinations within Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistcs and Actuarial Science must have the approval of the Undergraduate Director.

Combined degree programs are not available within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

It is possible to personalize your program by combining the requirements for any two programs offered by the University. Some of the more popular combinations are listed below. For assistance in course selection, planning, and declartion of a proposed combined program, please consult with the Undergraduate Director and the Faculty of Science.
