The Banff International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery (BIRS) is now accepting proposals for its 2012 program.

The Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS) welcomes applications for support of conferences, workshops, seminars, collaborative research groups and related activities in the mathematical sciences, to occur after April 1, 2011. Proposals must be received by October 1, 2010.

Date: June 7 - July 9, 2010

MITACS and PIMS sponsored Summer school comprised of two graduate courses and one industrial course, offered at UBC campus.  A limited amount of financial support (i.e. travel and accommodation) is available for young researchers and graduate students.

Three North American mathematical institutes, CIMAT, IMA and PIMS, are organizing this industrial training event which is open to students from all over Canada, to be held at CIMAT in Guanajuato, MEXICO, August 2-11, 2010.   The application deadline is *April 16, 2010*.
