I am a PIMS postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary. I arrived here in September 2011 after doing my PhD at
Harvard with Benedict Gross.
I will be visiting the University of Washington during the spring of 2012.
I am interested in algebraic and computational number theory, as
well as representation theory of p-adic groups.
- Local Langlands. I'm currently trying to understand Langlands
parameters and L-packets for explicit examples. In particular, I'm working with Clifton Cunningham on redoing some steps of my thesis using character sheaves.
- Computing with p-adics. I'm organizing Sage Days 36, and plan on spending a fair amount of time between now and then working on improving p-adic computation in Sage.
