Several double major and major/minor combinations are available. It is also possible to combine the requirements of any two programs offered by the University.
You can obtain a Double Major program (one degree in two major areas) by combining any two of Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Science meeting the requirements of both Major programs. A Major in General Mathematics cannot be combined with any other Major or Minor program offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Major/Minor combinations within Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science require the approval of the Undergraduate Director.
Combined degree programs (two degrees - one per major area) are not available within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
In addition to combined degrees available through the Department, it is possible to personalize your program by combining the requirements for any two programs offered by the University.
