The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers Block Week courses which are conducted during the first week of either the Fall or Winter Semesters. These courses are designed as review and/or transition courses for credit.

Students who present Mathematics 249 or 251 or 281 (with a C- or better grade), plus credit in Mathematics 117, may obtain Departmental permission to proceed directly to Applied Mathematics 219.
Students who present Mathematics 253 or 263 or 283 (with a C- or better grade), plus credit in Mathematics 114, may obtain Departmental permission to proceed directly to Applied Mathematics 309.
