Summer School on Elliptic Curve Cryptography

We will be hosting a summer school during the week preceding ECC 2009,
starting on Wednesday, August 19 and finishing on Saturday, August 22,
2009. The summer school will be held on the University of Calgary
campus, with lectures taking place in the Math Science building, room 431.
The following instructors are confirmed:
* Prof. Mark Bauer, University of Calgary
* Prof. Matthew Greenberg, University of Calgary
* Prof. Scott Vanstone, University of Waterloo
* Prof. Lawrence Washington, University of Maryland
Introductory topics on elliptic curves and cryptographic applications
will be covered, with an emphasis on providing a strong background in
support of the research talks at ECC.
