We study the convex hull of the intersection between a convex set E (obtained by intersecting a convex cone with an affine set) and a linear disjunction. This intersection is at the core of solution techniques for Mixed Integer Conic Optimization. We prove that, if a cone K (resp. a cylinder C) exist that has the same intersection with the frontier of the disjunction as E, then the convex hull is obtained by intersecting E with K (resp. C).

I will show that a magnetic Schrodinger operator can be determined from certain partial measurements of its Dirichlet-Neumann map. I will explain the result and its context, and give a short sketch of the proof.

In this talk I will discuss local well-posedness of an Initial Value problem associated to a system of PDE's generalizing the Korteweg-de Vries Equation (KdV). I will discuss several approaches to the KdV-type problems emphasizing the energy method and local smoothing estimates that are essential to my proof.
