As a University of Calgary student, the option of internationalizing your degree and globalizing your education through experiences abroad has relevance, not only to your U of C degree, but also to your future career.

Employers are increasingly looking for the adaptability, independence, global and cultural awareness and communication skills, which students involved in experiences abroad have acquired.

Experiences abroad can take many forms, including group study programs, individual study programs, internships, practicum, volunteering and working abroad. Whichever academic program an undergraduate student is pursuing, it is possible to integrate a period of time in another country, such that students can "internationalize" their degrees and experiences.
