Recognizing Excellence

Faculty of Science Awards

The Faculty of Science recognizes academic excellence in both teaching and learning. Annually, our best students receive a place on the Dean's List, and the Faculty honours our best educators with awards. For a list of current and past recipients, please visit the Faculty of Science Excellence and Awards page.

Faculty and Staff Awards

Every year, the University of Calgary along with the Graduate Students' Association and the Students' Union sponsor teaching excellence awards. Faculty, Instructors, and Teaching Assistants are nominated by students in order to be eligible for these awards.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics takes great pride in the caliber of our teachers and students. Frequently, the University of Calgary's wider community shares in that pride sufficiently to bestow upon our faculty and students awards for excellence. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics wishes to highlight some of the recent award recipients in the Department.
