Research

Research topics of interest to our members include parametric, non- and semi-parametric regression, survival analysis, frailty models, multi-state models, censored data analysis, correlated data methods, statistical computing, goodness-of-fit testing, extreme value analysis, generalized linear mixed models, statistical genetics, high dimensional data analysis, and diagnostic test assessment.

Most of us are involved in collaborations with other scientists.  A majority of these deal with some aspect of human health, such as ophthalmology, epidemiology, physiology, genetics, toxicology, and randomized clinical trials.  Other involvements include problems in plant pathology, the environment, and microbiology.  We are also engaged in statistical consulting.
