Research Group in Biostatistics (RGB)
Jason Xu is giving a talk on statistical analysis of randomized clinical trials on Friday, March 16, 2012. Below is a summary of the talk:
Statistical models are widely employed to address research questions in biomedical research field. However, there is a lack of definitive evidence on which statistical models perform best in multicenter RCTs with class of complex interventions. This study investigated the robustness of the results based on the commonly used statistical models in RCTs and explored the association between clinical outcomes and surrogate composite scores in COMPETE III trial by using the selected statistical model.
