About Us

Welcome to the Research Group in Biostatistics (RGB), the home of biostatisticians in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.  Our diverse and active group includes researchers and students with methodological and applied interests in the medical, health, biological, and social sciences.  Most of us are involved in collaborations with other scientists.  A majority of these deal with some aspect of human health, such as ophthalmology, epidemiology, physiology, genetics, toxicology, and randomized clinical trials.  Other involvements include problems in plant pathology, the environment, and microbiology.  We are also engaged in statistical consulting.
